Would like some opinions.

I have an older but brand new Fox Van R coil shock.

Is it worth sending it to Push or Avalanche to get it upgraded?

Or am I better off buying a new coil shock?

Is Push even servicing Fox shocks anymore?

I believe push is done with aftermarket tuning, which is too bad because the van R kit was pretty good!

I had a stock van R on a trail bike, and it was alright. Not great, not bad, just alright. Its an old shock now, chances are yours needs the IFP serviced even though its new. Its just hard to keep that much pressure in anything for that long.

What kind of bike is this going on? A modern air shock is truly a viable replacement option for a van R.

Thanks.

Going on a trail bike. I have an air shock but was thinking about a coil for some rides or when I have to get the current shock serviced, it's overdue.

Thought about buying new coil or air but $500 stings. But the new shocks are better.
