I like everything about GoPro’s Session cameras EXCEPT that they do NOT have user-replaceable batteries! Any input is appreciated...

Life expectancy of a GoPro Hero5 Session???

I've got a Session (couldn't tell you what generation off the top of my head, but I could look it) that I've had for about year. I've not noticed any fall off in battery life. I reckon if it lasts 3 or 4 years, I'll be ok with just buying a new one when this one quits.

Cotharyus, thanks for the reply! I have to agree with you that a 3 or 4 year lifespan for a Session seems pretty acceptable...

I've had a session 5 for 18 months or so and it still seems pretty good. I find with all GoPro's from the first one I had, a Hero 3 that the less you use them the quicker the battery is buggered. I fly helicopters and we use them to record the flights for the passengers and we run Hero 4's every day and have for ages and the batteries are still good but on my own hero 4 which I almost never use these days the batteries are rooted.
