Y'all know that this tire was specifically designed for our resident mad scientist in Norway? ;) You know he's going to take that tire and beat all the roadies in a metric century race with 100mm carbon rims no less!

Just you watch.
Roads are finally at least semi dry after being covered in salty brine since last fall. It was time to mount the Fattyslicks on carbon 100mm rims and do some hillclimbing at a popular Strava spot. Mounted them tubeless w/o sealant, and both held decent pressure overnight. Pumped them to 20psi before the ride. The front held up fine w/o sealant, but the rear started leaking, so was down to a mushy 6psi after a short while. Pumped up to 20psi with the Lezyne mini pump, and the bike was flying again, but it dropped to 6psi when I hit the climb.
Still moves pretty well at that pressure, but of course nothing like they do at 20.
Will add some sealant and that will seal them right up. Sidewalls were not leaking, all the air escaped at the bead, so takes very little sealant to make them aok. Probably less than half a Stan's cup, so approx. 1oz / 30ml.
Weight was 1205 and 1249g respectively, so the bike gained a massive 2lbs vs the shaved Kenda Juggernauts that I ran last summer, but it is still in the 19lb range, so still acceptable.

Up tha hill at 17psi front and mushy 6psi rear:

Down the hill at 17psi front and some 10psi rear:

Will seal 'em up and do lots more testing at a solid 20-22psi, roll tests vs. road bikes, etc.
