Agree, and the cycling press could all do us a favor and not cover what he does. After all the scandals, who cares anymore? His group of dopers got more press than the winners of this event.
This! There would be only a small sentence about the 4-man team that broke the record and did 24 in 24, and nothing about any of the soloists, duos, etc.

I hope there's no "Armstrong effect" on registration and trying to attend 24HOP like what happened to Leadville 100 after he raced them and the movies. I love 24HOP and don't want to see it change in a negative direction

Agreed.

Anybody else notice they called themselves, "WEDU". Which made me think "WADA"?

(apparently their sponsor is Wedusport, a mysterious website with the tagline "Solidarity for the Solitary". Kinda sounds like it might be a union for people who jack off.)

Niner and Lance together does not compute. Odds are it's a Trek. I'm guessing it's an unreleasted/prototype Trek Procaliber. While it doesn't appear have the current looking decoupler, there is something going on in that area.
While he has thrown a leg over a variety of bikes, if he or someone has taken the time to custom paint a bike just for him or his team, it has to be Trek.

Unless it's an old model, it doesn't look like it's a Pivot Les. In the picture, the rear brake looks like it runs through the downtube and is mounted in between the chain and seat stays. The Pivot rear brake runs through the top tube and then on the outside of the chainstay to a chainstay mounted brake.
