I searched and found some posts, but not many pictures.
After a short trip the first of this month, I had to cut the trip short with terrible neck pain. I've decided to try trekking bars & am trying them out on another bike. I'd just like to see pics of some bikes, especially LHT's with this setup. Bonus points if the bike has Paul thumbies.

Do I win a prize? First one is my 26" Trucker with MTB bars and thumbs (not Paul but close enough!) and my 700cc Brevet Trucker with Velo Orange Crazy Bars and bar end shifters. Bars gave a more relaxed upright position but I've since gone back to drops on both due to my eternal tinkering and swapping parts around!!

I had trekking bars, no thumbies, on my LHT for a short time. Switched to Albatross.
I used the trekking bars on a different bike where I couldn't swap out the stem. The trekking bars made it possible to extend my reach a bit. But on my LHT, where I could easily adjust my reach with different stem lengths, I found I preferred the A-bars. Never did run drops on the LHT, though.

One issue you may find when switching from drop bars is the change in reach. I had a fairly long stem to get those a-bars out where I wanted them, and I had a relatively large bike. But then trekking bars are nice because they have a grip area that extends beyond the stem, so that may not be a problem. I'll see if I still have a photo.

May be the only photo I have.
