Curious on what size procalibers everyone is on. I'm 5'9.5 and currently have a 17.5 Superfly SS and have had an 18.5 Remedy and 17.5 Fuel EX 29er in the past.

Stuck between the 17.5 and 18.5 procalibers...Trek's recommendations puts me firmly on the 18.5 but comparing the geo to other brands the I'm closer to the 17.5. I did test ride the 18.5 for just a little bit, felt big but I'm also used to my current SS so not sure if it's just something I'd need to adjust to. All sizes I'm talking about are Treks Virtual.

The Procal is very close to the geo of the current Superfly. The 412mm reach is the same. 427 for a 18.5. That's 15mm difference between sizes. Stack is the same between 17.5 and 18.5.
Go back in for a test ride with a shorter stem. The service guys will have a box of them. Two minutes to change it.
You have an option to go with wider bars than you have on your current bike. 20mm shorter stem on the 18.5 and wider bars will get you 15mm difference.
Or wider bars on the 17.5 gives you more room with the same stem size you have now.
You want to consider being able to weight the front tire for cornering.

I run my current Superfly SS with a -6deg 70mm stem and 740mm bars. I had them swap a 70mm stem on the test ride of the Procal 18.5, but I believe the bars were closer to 700 and the stem was at +6.

Thats my concern going with the 18.5, as I will likely match my current cockpit. I assume that may be why the 17.5 doesn't feel small to me now and potentially why it might be worth sticking with the 17.5 over the 18.5...
