I had my shock pulled off yesterday, spinning the pivot bearings with my finger they felt notchy. Curious what a LBS typically charges to replace all those bearings. Thanks!
Thanks dude, that's what I needed to know. I'm good with the labor charge since it takes some pretty special tools to remove the pivots and bearings and to install them.Unbolt shock and cycle the rear end by hand.. If it doesn't feel smooth and supple, you have some worn bearings.
Expect to pay around 80-100 labor + the bearing kit (around $50 give or take)
It will be more expensive if the hardware also needs replaced.
