Hi, I'm totally a newbie in cycling. Getting my first bike. I always thought bike specifications will improve with each new model. However, looks like for this model, 2014 model seems to have a better spec than 2015.
1) I wonder why. Here's the differences :-
2014:
FSA crankset with hollow tech
shimano SLX rear derailleur
shimano brakes
2015:
Shimano crankset (not hollow)
Shimano Deore rear derailleur
tektro augura brakes
2) when I test ride 2014 model.. the brakes gave out loud irritating sound whenever I brake fully to stop and get off the bike. Anything wrong with it? Was it due to the bike being kept for too long in the shop? The seller said it's ok but I'm worry.
