dumb question

just wondering if this is normal or common on tubeless

vredestein black panther extreme 2.3
27.5 tubeless, about 24psi/26psi rear

I like the tires and they are fast enough on trail,
[only not the greatest on sandy climbs]

but on the way to the trail and back home, if i am motoring and
hopping sidewalks n such and make a hard powered corner, I feel the rear squirm and hear the tread grind...much more than I have experience with previous tires

is this just some of the added suppleness with tubeless ?

"They" say one of the advantages of tubeless is that the tire is more flexible since you don't have the tube rubbing against the inside of the tire as it flexes, and they're probably right.

How much do you weigh? At almost 190lbs with that pressure, I'd expect to feel some squirm on pavement using that pressure, maybe even on super tacky hardpack, but not on the overwhelming majority of trails.

What was your previous tire and the amount of air pressure you used on pavement?

To be honest, this sounds completely normal, when you're talking about a large, aggressive MTB tire at fairly low pressure, subjected to high cornering load on pavement. A few steps beyond your noisy knobs sometimes leads to ripped knobs or a burped bead.

170 and rode 26'ers with 2.1 and tubes at 30+, and 29'ers with 2.1 and tubes at 30+

yeah I think I am overthinking it....

I reckon it squirms because ...I can run lower pressures safely and no tube in there strengthening the sidewall
