The frame is a 91' Univega Pro-Rx and it was my first race bike. The frame had been sitting in my garage for the last couple of years and I finally decided to bring it back to life. It was a fun project and the bike still have plenty of life left with all the new stuff I put on it.
I decided on the moustache bar long before I started to build the bike up and I am not disappointed with it. It provides a very aggressive riding style and I felt like to ride out of the saddle most of the time. I have not tried off roading with it yet, but soon enough. I still need to add a Granny ring and a set o Knobbies for the off road duty. From I have already experience, this bike should be an alright off roader.
I am also using the Thumbshifter for the 8 speed Casette as well.
I already have a feeling that I will be on the this bike for most of this winter.
