DB INline on Split Pivot HT

Any one have some settings they would like to share.

Also I have 2 rides on mine, maybe 20 miles. Works fine but I am getting a squeak when pedaling. I notice a ring of grease where the o-ring traveled the most after the last ride. Is this just bre4aking in or should I be concerned. If it keeps up I'll go nuts as I hate a bike that makes noise on every pedal stroke. Did not do this before with the Fox.

Did you get to the source of the problem with the squeak?
I have a new DB Inline that is squeaking also.

I have had one on my Horsetheif since last fall. No squeaks or squaks, just smooth travel.

Mine has a little grease ring as well, I never really worried about it. Lots of fun playing with the settings. I can't remember the settings off the top of my head. As goofy as it is, I keep up with the settings in the journal

Squeak went away with a couple more PSI and then softening the LSC.

I did have the upper shock tower bolt sheer off on me this past weekend. I'm a heavy guy but this should not have happened. I hit two rollers 1.5 foot tall. First I heard a pop, second I thought the frame have snapped. 4 mile walk back to the lot.

Shock did not bottom out so this has me concerned.

Up to that point is was smooth as can be and such in improvement over the Fox shock.

Got in touch with Salsa today. They are sending out and extra bolt and pivot pin. This way I'll have an extra in my bag in case this ever happens again. I will order the complete pivot kit in a few months and replace all the pivots as recommended.

Salsa seems a little hard to get in touch with at times. But they sure come through once I do make contact.
