Has anyone had any experience stripping the paint off their carbon frame and repainting it? What did you use and how did you do it? I have repainted steel frames and alloy forks before but never have done carbon

It can be done, at considerable cost... or if you are really confident in your abilities. I prefer to use tape

First off - I would only do this if I 1) was a second-hand owner or 2) my warranty was expired.
Second - I would only consider having a company experienced in carbon work perform the task. Luckily I have 2 nearby but you could mail the frame to them.
Try Calfee or RR Velo. Both are in Watsonville, Ca.
