At this point it might be easier to wait until the 2015 Kona models come out. I emailed them trying to get a approx. date for when this might be. Still no answer, will post up here if I ever hear back from them.
They know they underestimated the popularity of this new design. Wouldn't be surprised if we see an early release to get more bikes out to stores.

Does the Norco also have a PF BB? If not, I would choose the Norco. If yes, I would choose a 5010 or a Bronson.

Is PF or non-PF bottom bracket really the kicker for choosing between two great but non-identical bikes?

No experience with the Norco but I did a demo on the Remedy and didn't like it. Granted everyone is different but the ride for me simply boiled down to not feeling that good and the remedy felt very, very heavy. Plus I am also hearing that no one has them in stock.

The geo on both these bikes is pretty similar and super balanced. Unless a lbs has a sight in stock or one already on order, you might be waiting until august for a 2015 sight.
fwiw, I love my sight. I think you can't go wrong with either bike.

Sights are sold out, but there are definitely some dealers with unsold Sights around. I know my lbs has a m and l 7 1.5 unsold on their floor.
My LBS said Kona is stepping on the gas to get the 2015 models out due to the shortages. They said they are hoping to start construction on them in July, but that could be delayed if a part becomes unavailable. They also claimed there probably won't be much change at all in the bikes, even keeping same colors, but maybe in a different pattern.
I don't have many Norco dealers in this area so haven't commpared them but there are 134's sporatically around the bike shops. Friend of mine is a newb to mtb but just got a 134 regular and she loves it. Might have to call around and make drive if you can score one.
I might be buying a 153 soon as well. Wish I could try a Range.
