Seems like Magura has reworked it's MT range of brakes, from MT2 to MT8, called MT Next.

The MT5 and MT7 are four piston brakes.

Mediocre reviews, silly lever fasteners that piss people off, the recall, and general lack of interest from bike companies (except specialized - whose position was "please sell us anything but avid brakes").

I thought this was a really fast re-do. It seems like they've only been on the market for a year, year and a half... but apparently they've been producing them since 2011. So I am off base on that.

I have a set of the MT2s. Decent brakes, but with the exception of the lever, my Martas are better, with both better bite and modulation.
