I'm digging mine quite a bit, I just run it with less sag than recommended. I basically set it until it bottoms out at least once a ride, but I never feel it bottom out. I don't feel the need to use the lockout either. I turned it on just to try it and quickly flipped it back to open. I have the trace on the front set at 140mm and also lowered the pressure until it uses about 3/4 or 7/8 of the travel up front. It still climbs everything easily and the descending is really good so far. I'd like to try it with some wider rims and tires, but keep the semi slick rear tire such as Racing Ralph 2.3 or Rock Razor, or Specialized Slaughter. Just adding tire volume and lower tire pressure is like adding 10-20mm of suspension travel, better traction, and small bumps just disappear and everything is less bouncy, more marshmallowy. Some people don't like their bike to feel that way, but I like a smooth ride and maximum traction both climbing and descending. To summarize, I don't feel I would have any advantages by changing the Microlite nor the Trace, but I think the built in compression tune for both is just right for my weight, terrain, and style.
