Might have to get something to match my 300mxc

x2 on being curious about the actual relationship to KTM motorcycles...

Cool. I never knew KTM had bicycles. Is that why Cannondale decided they could build a motorcycle some time back? I wish that would have worked out better for Cannondale. They had a good motorcycle I think, but cost were to high. In the end it just hurt them. But anyway, back on topic. Glad to see the KTM bikes here. Good luck.

False. The Cannondale motocross bike was a pile of garbage. The engine sounded like a toolbox rattling around/getting dropped on the floor. Racing it against the major Japanese bikes would be like racing a Trek 820 in a UCI World Cup XC race.

I do like the looks of the KTM bikes, but don't know anything about them. They sure have done a good job of getting their moto bikes up to par with the Japanese bikes, so I'm sure they can get the bicycles figured out with time.

I'll have to take your word on that one. I have no first hand experience with them. I just remember them racing in a couple Supercross events years ago. They never really did much in the events, but then again, at that time, nobody could touch Jeremey McGrath no matter what they were riding. But obviusly they had issues. Cannondale should have just built the bike and outsourced the motor.

Anyway, I agree that KTMs are respectable in the motorcyle world. I would expect good quality from their bikes.

Ktm

I've been enjoying the hell out of my KTM Prowler 2.0 for couple of years now.
I bought it during my trip in Europe and brought it back with me.
It sure turns heads on and off trail ;))
I ride KTM offroad motorcycles, so this was a perfect compliment to my orange 'line-up'. I love riding this thing.

I'm glad to see that these awesome bikes will cross the pond!
But I can't find an official US site (?)

If you want to order a KTM bike contact me at Moontime Cyclery in Edwards CO! we just became an official KTM Dealer! We are really excited about this opportunity! A surprise to us is that we have become very interested in their road bikes-- they are clean and simple.
Expecting to see the first ship in about 6 weeks. Contact me, Bryan, at Moontime Cyclery 970.926.4516. We do take credit cards!! LOL!! hopefully, we will sell a lot of these high quality bikes!

They sure are proud of their press-fit bottom brackets, the first thing I look at to see if I would even consider it.

I will only buy a bike with a threaded bottom bracket.
