Lol. Kenda would be out of business if it wasn't for their unexplainable ability to sell to their oem accounts. Well, it's actually not much of a mystery- they sell them dirt cheap. See - bikes direct and their affinity for the small block eight.

Nevs are an ok tire, until you consider how slow and heavy they are.

Are you running them with tubes or tubeless? My Panaracer Rampage is hopeless when I inflate them to minimum recommended psi (35 I think), but damn good grip when I run them 24-26psi - good enough to turn sharp corners fast on dirt/loose gravel road.

If you can run 2.4", Ardent has a lot of grip too (they have 2.25" as well, but I don't know how good traction is).

+ 1 for the Bontrager 29-3 in 2.35 for trail riding. Rolls fast, reasonably light, awesome side grip when you lay it over, center ridge makes them wear out much more slowly IMHOP. good sidewall protection too. I'm running mine on the rear, tubeless, 28 pounds pressure (i am 6' 4" 220 rtr) with a Panaracer Rampage 2.35 on the front set at about 25 psi. Loving this fast grippy set up :) Try the 29-3.
