I got some of these to replace the stock sintered brake pads on my Elixir 9 brakes and they have worked very nicely. Inexpensive and much more quiet than the stock pads. I don't yet know about pad wear but they seem to be holding up. I'd go ahead and give them a try.

Well I just got a set of these truckerCO brand pads... they were so cheap that I had to give them a try. Got the "alloy" Organic Semi Metallic ones. Was like 17 bucks shipped for BOTH WHEELS... (thou it's funny that they have 4 pad/2 wheel combo packs that are actually a buck more than buying them in individual wheel sets :skep: )

figured I'd be tossing them quickly but I got to say.. they preform really really well. I only have a few really short rides on them but they are currently out performing anything else I've tried.. and the big key is they are SILENT.. EVEN WHEN WET!!! which is a really big surprise as every disc brake system and pads have been at least a tad squeaky when 1st applying brakes in moist conditions.

One other thing is I remember others complaining about the spring being shrink wrapped up and hard to get out of the plastic without damaging.. well mine came in a hard pack so no issues there...

I did notice they are a bit light on the amount of material actually on the pad... not much thicker than the worn out pair they are replacing. But I got to say,... even if they wear out fast, I'd rather have good, quiet brakes I change the pads more often,... and still cost less than just about anything else out there.

about the only other pad I've tried I liked as well believe it or not were Serfas organics...

I cannot agree with amount of material on pad being light - after retracting pistons, I could barely squeeze in in pads without rubbing on rotor.

When changing my 1 season old 2012 shimano slx front pads out, I thought the same thing - they were 'light on material', - until I changed out the rear. My stock front pads did not show noticeable wear, while the rear did.

I put a set of the alloy backed ones in my xtr 975s, I liked them in dry and did a few rides/races on them, but did a nasty muddy race with them in record rainfall and it was almost like I had no brakes, I did not like them in heavy duty wet. I tried a set of Serfas which have been fine so far, but no extreme mud yet. Maybe I'll put the truckercos back in for the dry season.

These have been my go to pads for my 785s. I have nothing but good things to say about them. At this point i much prefer them over the p o s finned brake that shimano has. They scream bloody murder and no matter what l do i cant stop them from squeeling. They are too expensive and lm not making anymore money to keep replacing them.
And they are cheap +1 & they work really well +2

I have a set on my 975 XTRs and they are great in the dry, not so great in wet... Pretty dang quiet though.

I ordered a set to try them out. They sent me the newer version of the pads. They ended up refunding my money and sending me a set of the correct pads. Great company to work with.

So if anyone wants a free set of the newer pads so they can try them out, I will send them if you paypal me a couple bucks for shipping. :)

For dry I prefer the Shimano M07ti pads and for wet I prefer the M06ti. But on a budget TruckerCo is a great pad.

Just PM me if you want to try some of them:)

Another update: These pads rock over the OEM pads (Magura)! Longer lasting, more powerful, and less noise. Add that to unbelievably cheap prices and we've got a big winner here. They are about 60-70% worn now but they still work well and they've outlasted the OEM pads. I'm also not seeing burn marks on my rear rotor (lots of long, steep downhills runs in my zone) which was happening with the OEM pads.

Installed on: 2010 Magura Marta SL 180/160 Storm SL rotors

Installed high performance pads(silver backing) on my formula rx brakes.. Will post back after 15 hours of riding.

I didn't notice them having any less material then the stock pads.

You guys still liking them?
