Hello single speeders. where can I purchase a pinch bolts for an eccentric BB? I have a 2013 specialized carve sl, theres nothing wrong with my current bolts but Im just wondering if I can change it to a titanium bolts or anything better than the stock bolts. Thanks in advance.

oh..so you want a spare set? Not sure what size you have but they are usually metric...take one out and take it to the local bolt supliers and see what they have. They'll have a range of head type and material types. Could even get stainless but probably better with high tensile steel. These shops are fairly common for trades people, usually in industrial areas. Should be able to find it in the local phone book. Like shiggy said, a hardware will have something, just depends on what choices you want

I'd stick with steel bolts for things needing cranking down hard.
Definitely not saying I disagree with sticking with steel, but I would definitely be careful about cranking down too hard. Recommended torque on this is only 8.9 nM (80 in-lbs)

Also, not completely sure these are steel. If they are, they are awfully soft steel. I have already rounded one out. So definitely make sure you allen wrench is completely set before applying too much torque.

Good point...never had an EBB. My sliders like to be torqued up, but wouldn't want to distort a BB. Some blue Loctite may help the wear...I'd say grease or antisieze normally but have no idea if these things work loose easily or not. Oh I see you are talking head rounding out...High tensile should be more resistant, stainless isn't great in this regard either

Doubt anywhere local will carry Ti, and any fastener supply will carry in boxes of 100. Online would be your best bet, here is a pair (2) from Chain Reaction

Nukeproof M6 Ti Bolt | Buy Online | ChainReactionCycles.com

These bolts don't need to be super tight so Ti would probably be okay, but Ti is only .6 the weight of steel so you're basically saving the weight of 1 bolt for $20+...

Stainless in a high Grade on the other hand can probably be found at your local Ace or OSH, Home Deposit and Lowes carry crap for these sort of bolts...

By the way they are M6 x 35mm which may be hard to find and you'll have to pick up M6x40
