New Jet 9 Carbon in Moondust Grey

Took delivery of this little beauty last Saturday and took her to Scotland for a few days last week.

Using crude luggage scales she weighs in at 27lbs....not the lightest on here i know.

Mix of XT/XTR goodies, Shadow rear Der, Carbon Post and bars,Spesh Phenon Gel Saddle for a little comfort, Mavic Crossmax ST wheels running tubeless, Fox Float 120 travel forks, Shimano Saint pedals.... She handles really well.

Only gripe ive had so far one of suspension bolts keeps coming loose (crank side) which is a bit worrying.

I saw the graphics on the frame and thought, that's it white fork all the way....I hadn't realised the wheels had white hubs so the whole colour combination works well AND the underneath of the saddle is white too......it was fate

Love that color! How are you liking the Crossmax STs? Those are what I plan to put on my build.

They're performing great, light but strong....I'm not noticing any flexing and they look the business.....I couldn't get the SLR's due to rider weight but I'm more than happy with these.

Very nicely done. Do those stickers come off those rims? Would look even better without them.

Awesome, I'm in th same boat. I'm 245 but I'm shedding th weight so maybe SLRs some day. (I vote to keep the stickers!)

Yes I was just about to start a trail when it happened so took to the lbs and thy removed bolt and other three and reloctited them all but it's The one coming loose again :madman:

I am seriously considering the Carbon with a build to my specs. Do you have any idea how much more the frames weighs than the RDO frame?

It's the same as the 2012 RDO, the newest one has carbon rockers and thicker rear axle.

By the way AndrewFuzzy, are you torquing the screws to 9nm? Some of the bolts p have misprints on them and say 6nm, the new PDF has the correct torque (9nm)
