Sundance Trail System - No. 93 - Trail, Sundance, Wyoming

DESCRIPTION

This is a multi-use (bike, hike, horse, XC ski) system in the southern portion of the Bearlodge Mountains (Black Hills National Forest). Trails are named and marked. Make sure you pick up a free "Bearlodge Trails" map at a Forest Service office. The map provides elevation contours and difficulty levels.

I highly recommend picking up the map at the forest service office. However, there are more trails here than there are signs. There are also no real landmarks in this entire area making it difficult to reference any particular point. It all starts to look the same real quick. That having been said, you can ride a long, long time never taking the same trail twice and never seeing another soul. This is probably best ridden with someone who knows the area; at least for the first couple times.
