I rode this trail on 4/19/2008. To get ther take I-90 to exit # 110 for Wall. Go south on the Badlands Loop road approximately 1 mile to another dirt road with a street sign called Badlands. Immediately after this dirt road and a Billboard there is another unnamed dirt road that takes you down to the start of the trail. Do not drive your car down the hill unless you have a high clearance vehicle and 4WD.

Pretty flat, as you might imagine if you know the area. A fair amount of it is essentially crossing cow pasture, so some sections are very bumpy due to cattle tracks made when the ground was soft. There are a few "Badlands" type sections, with a hard-packed surface and some mounds, drops, etc. These spots are real gems and made the long ride worth it. Adrenaline junkies should definitely pass on this trail. Customer Service Park by the large sign, bomb down the road to the trailhead. It's a loop, so go either way. |
