The trail is gone. Buildings have been built over it and any side loops are long gone due to pine needles, leaves and lack of riders. It is a bummer since this trail rocked. Similar Products Used: uhwarri |

This is the Best ride in the entire Fayetteville area. If you enjoy clay singletrack, jumps, and fast sections this is it! Don't get bogged down in the sand at Smith Lake trails with all the fat boys when you can ride this well maintained challenging area. Give it a try. I have been stationed here for a short time and enjoy this ride as much as the more challenging trails in Sanford. This area is not posted however, I would not stick around if you see the fish and wildlife officers in their green or black trucks drive in. Enjoy! Customer Service Park by the new BX/PX complex and ride the fire break down to the trail area. Similar Products Used: Everything else on Ft Bragg sucks |

Great fun and Relaxing ride. Thanks to whoever is working so hard to maintain these trails. Clay singletrack with some nice jumps and scenery. I recommend it. I did not see any Forest rangers on patrol in the green of black trucks. I also recommend entry from the new BX/PX area just as Tom said. If I lived closer I would come out and do some trail maintenance myself. Customer Service Any direction is great |

Since the land owner clear-cut the pie-piece of privately owned property that the loop used to go through, we have to use connector dirt roads to go from one section to the other. In spite of that, these are still some great trails. You need to be in fairly good shape because you'll either be climbing or descending most of the time. These trails allow you to carry some decent speed through the majority of the bigger loop. The smaller loop is just good, twisty fun. Remember to enter from Morganton and Reilly road areas - not from Chicken Rd. And it's snake season - seen several black snakes so far. Dogwood blooms are down as of 4/21/00. Just adding comments that the fall raking maintenance is well underway. The lower section is done and the upper sections need it bad. 90+% of leaves ae out of the trees now so let's get to it. |

Word to the wise: the game wardens have been out in force, writting over 100 warnings in the last two weekends. I got mine! I'm a frustrated, but law abiding citizen, so I'll be staying clear until something legal can be worked out through the Bragg command group - so my $20 bucks and I are headed for Smith Lake sand. |
