Two Rivers Bike Park - Trail, Highlandville, Missouri

DESCRIPTION

Two Rivers Bike Park is a developing mountain biking destination being made by TrailSpring. Two Rivers boasts slopestyle and flow trails with structures to ride over like built in wall curves and table tops. Two Rivers also has several miles of single track that run beside the river. A skills area near the parking lot has many structures to practice and play on, including a teeter-totter and some drop offs. There is something for all skill levels.

I live about 15 min away so I consider this to be my "home" trail. That being said, I ride it about 3-4 x's a week depending on the weather and trail conditions. Overall, I have found that this location has pretty much every terrain feature one might want to ride. Surface types include: hard pack, loose gravel/fist sized rocks, small rock shelves, and mud (small continuous run off from higher elevations). Trail types include: dedicated down hill and enduro sections as well as flowy cross country segments that can be really rewarding. This is especially true of the D connector trail. My advice is to ride it from the south trail back to the trail head in a westerly direction. Very sweet. Multiple platforms and ramps are deployed along various parts of the trails for added challenge and enjoyment. Switchbacks and grueling up hills that feel like they might go on forever are also found here. There is even area to improve your skills at the trail head (i.e. pump ramp, small platforms, jumps, etc.). I must admit, this place has sort of spoiled me in regards to how I judge the other trails in the area.

Counter-clockwise on the west loop (yeah, going up the switchbacks are a beotch) and clockwise on the south trail. Connector D, refer to the above summary.

Ranges from flowey downhill sections, to very technical stretches, to long switchback climbs, to skills areas with wooden features. There is great variety and it is very well maintained by the community of riders. This is by far the best place in the area to ride whether you are just starting out or are an avid rider. They are also continuing to expand their trail system, so the future here looks great!

Customer Service

West trail (counter clockwise), if you're up for some climbing, and finish with the downhill
