This trail is similar to G Spot. Someone is maintaining it decently for motoX. The dirt jumps are mainily setup for motoX, they're too far apart to land on a DH bike unless you ride brakeless. There are boulder drops into jumps in quite a few places. Many new lines have come up since I last rode it back in 2000. Overall it's somewhat better than Telonics and it makes a perfect shuttle trail for locals. There is no housing development anymore. It fell through, but the fences still hold, and so do the security camera's that monitor it. It's actually better to just do the hike a bike at the end and drop off into the community to avoid the hassle of the fences.

Shuttle to the top of the canyon where rocketdyne is. now prepare to ride down the canyon and hit all the wall rides. there is about 5. two big ones on the left, two small ones and a semi big one on the right. As you're coming down the canyon, the HUGE LEFT BEND turn is the signal to the the fire road/ driveway entrance that's about 100ft down to the right. Ride in and about 60ft into it it's on the left. You'll see a plot of flats and you'll see a trail. It begins there. Have fun, take it easy as to not take jumps that you blindly don't know where they land. I won't get into details how to ride the trail because it's whatever line you choose. Please, just like G Spot, DON'T case the jumps if you can't do them. Just ride around. Its a lot of work to maintain these areas. Towards the end it's all fenced off and you have to hop two fences.

Anybody that says that this area is closed is trying to keep others out. I've been riding in there since 1990 and NO, IT'S NOT CLOSED & NOBODY HAS BEEN TOWED OR ARRESTED OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. In fact, I'm hoping that some cross-country types will ride in there so I don't have to work so hard to keep my trails working. The down-hillers don't care about my trails, as they just go straight off the rocks anyway, so why should I care if they get "over crouded".

Woosley Canyon is closed, and this time it looks like for good! There will be a huge housing development going in, and the developer is always hanging out on weekends and in the afternoons. Just last Saturday he had a few trucks, riders and hikers, towed and made sure that the local police issued tickets for riding on private land. Since there are about 25 signs posted now, no one really has a leg to stand on when the police do show up, and for some reason they have been showing within about 15 minutes of being called--scary! The developer is a real prick... Sadly, this place could have been kept alive for a little bit longer; if so many people didn't post pictures and give directions on the internet--thanks! Some people just don't quite get it... Lastly, I did met up with the fool with the shot gun, luckily he was driving his truck at the time--he just yelled out a nice death threat and left--luckily.

A message to any landowners that read this forum... I ride with this trail and have rode it years before your transplanted out of state asses moved in, and I ride ALWAYS with two weapons. Find me and threaten me with your false laws and shotguns and you'll be regretting it. I promiss you this. Also, until you post signs stating that you'll tow and you have the write by county code...and you do tow someone, you're in state violation, and in line to be sued. Look it up, dumbasses...my uncle is a state attourney.

Great trail, lots of fun. I used to ride this trail years ago before I relocated to Durango from my home in Chatsworth. The drops are nice and the the technical aspects make for some enjoyable riding. This trail is open as I discovered while in town visting my dropping gen X er brother in law. I have some locals R and D riders testing my companies new bikes down this trail at break neck speed, very little chance of encounters with trail users as this trail is seldom used (Very remote). I one modal designed especially for this type of trail riding.

Park on Roscoe at the end where it meets valley circle and head up dirt woolsey until you reach the top at paved woolsey, Take woolsey up to the point of sage park and the top of Black Canyon, divert onto the North American cutoff trail until it exits at Box Canyon. Go down the paved Box until you reach Santa Susana road east to Rocky Peak, go up the Peak and down Johnson Motorway to Indian Hills estates and venture back to the pass through Box Canyon to you starting point of Roscoe. Tell him the "Great One" John Tomac told ya.........
