Mongibello Red Loop - Trail, Milo, Europe

Mongibello Red Loop - Trail, Milo, Europe

DESCRIPTION

Park in the town of Milo across the street from the church on the side road. Begin the ride by climbing up the main town road and take a left at the first street you come to. Once there, follow the colored arrows, Blue, Red, and Orange up the cobble stone street. Once at the top of that, red is the only one that goes left. Keep following the road up and it will turn into a fire road and eventually single track for a short while. At the T intercetion take a right and continue up. That will lead you to a gravel road where you take a left but the first stone hill climb and you will be reconected with the trail markers. Stay on that following the arrows along the way and towards the end of the fire road, keep an eye out on the left for a single track enterance. Really easy to miss and if you keep going you'll find your self on a very steep very unstable path. Will post pics soon.

This is a fun trail for the most part. Mostly fire roads over volcanic rocks and loose gravel which makes it challanging on climbs. Great for doing multiple loops to time your self and improve your climbing skill real fast.
