I contacted Jenson about those frames a while back. Apparently a 2.3" tire will just barely fit. 2.1" max if you need room for mud.Jefficus said:Jenson has Zion EBB's on sale for 299 and free shipping. I thought that at $425, there were better values out there, but 300? Hmmm...
I will let you know on monday when mine gets here...Nater said:Hey all,
Just wondering if any of you could let me know how the decals are applied. Under a clear coat or are they easily removed?
Thanks,
Nate
If you use a shorter fork, the HA will get steeper. If it is too steep, you could try an Instigator fork.halfinch said:i was surfing jenson also, and saw the sweet price on the zion. my prob is that the head angle is at 71.5 based around 80mm. i currently ride a cannondale (70 degrees), and if i use a surly fork on the zion it'll swing it closure to 72 degrees..i'm thinkin that's getting slack..
your thoughtss?
understood. didnt want to get another fork, as the new surly is sitting there waiting to be loved..TheSingleGuy said:If you use a shorter fork, the HA will get steeper. If it is too steep, you could try an Instigator fork.
Looks good. Where, though?frankenbike said:There is also the Soul Cycles Hooligan frame with rigid fork combo for $285.

Which Surly fork? I thought the 1X1 fork axel to crown was around 413 mm, which should not rake out the frame too much. The axel to crown on the instigator is more like 440mm. You could call jenson and ask them what axel to crown they recommend.halfinch said:i was surfing jenson also, and saw the sweet price on the zion. my prob is that the head angle is at 71.5 based around 80mm. i currently ride a cannondale (70 degrees), and if i use a surly fork on the zion it'll swing it closure to 72 degrees..i'm thinkin that's getting slack..
