I am concidering a 2002 Marzocchi Z1 (130mm travel) as a general trail riding fork for a Titus Switchblade with a 5.25" rear link.

What do you think?

I would go w/ the Z1 Freeride. The Wedge has the SSV dampner and the Freeride has HSCV & ECC.

why not a '05 fox vanilla 130mm?

I'm running a '03 fox vanilla 125mm on my SB. IMO the lighter fox is a better match for the SB and trail riding. The Z1 zokes are great forks but if you don't need the extra beef the Fox is plenty of fork for a SB.
