Hi

i bought a new Z1 FR 2003 a mounth ago, and i think it's too hard for my weight. instead absorbing small impacts from the ground, it's rock my bike.

my weight is 155lbs (with camelback), and i'm running the fork almost without preload.

i searched the forums and the archives and didn't succed to find one answer for that. i understood that the original spring called firm (red one) and it doesn't intended for my weight.

So... should i need to switch both springs (one for each leg) ? do i need a white or orange spring ?

i usually ride aggresive-XC, dropping 3-4 feet, so i prefer my fork not on the soft side for my weight.

Thnx guys, & sorry for my awefull english

Don't know which springs you need off the top of my head, but start where you bought the fork. If they won't help, try Larry Mettler at www.mtnhighcyclery.com . He's very helpful and can probably recommend which spring set or combo would work best for you.

I live at the far middle east, and unfortunetley my local distributor doesn't have a clue about the aftermarket springs from marzocchi....

So, here u guys enter to the picture :)
I searched a lot over the net, and find that :

A. Marz Spring Kit 130mm Med 145-180lb, Color: White ,(Item Code: FK9521)
http://store.airbomb.com/ba/asp/ic.FK9521/ab/Itemdesc.htm

B. "you'll need spring kits #5141253/c for the right leg (longer spring) and #5141252/c for the left leg"...."the medium springs are orange"
http://archive.mtbr.com/12/0EFDB83E.php

I also find out that there is a diffrence between the kit spirngs for the bombers untill 2003, and for 2003-2004 because of the size of the Stanchions (2003-2004 = 32 mm, 2002 & earliear = 30 mm).

So ? what should i order for my 2003 Z1 32 mm Stanchions ? an orange or a white springs ? do i need two new springs ? and what is the part number ?
Can someone do a little order in my head ?

thnx a lot, please help me before i get PARKINSON in my hands
