so i'm replacing my brake pads for the first time. i got my bb7's used so i don't know what kind of pads are on them now but i'm installing ebc golds. i know some folks here have witchcraft-like anal retentive procedures for preparing your rotors and bedding in the new pads. i want to hear those procedures.

Never touch them.

The procedure is sell them on ebay and buy a good set of hydros

Scuff up the rotor with some fine grit sand paper. Clean rotors with alcohol. Don't get anything on the pads.
