Hey, havent done alot of riding the last couple of months but looking to possibly get out to the You Yangs to get the legs going again. Has anybody been out there lately and what condition are the trails in ?

I'd recommend going to Wombat or if you can deal with the drive, Forrest was pretty dry a couple of weeks ago

Got out to Lysty but on the other side of Wellington Rd. Most of it was outside of the park along tracks between the road and the fence. At least i got the legs pumping again. Cheers

I went a couple of weeks ago and it was about 70-80% dry. It should be better now as we haven't had any major rainfall for a few days (yesterday was a bit wet but not terrible). It wasn't badly rutted either except for 2 spots where its been washed away a bit, but for a trail over 20k's it is in reasonably good nick

Thanks am looking forward to getting back on the bike, it was getting a bit depressing reading about all the trail closures over the last 3 months. Good to hear that Wombat seems to have survived it all!
