You can go home early today!

You guys get the rest of the day off. You can go home now. Happy holidays.

So long as we're still cleaning the vomit off the monitors from the last election, check this out: a one-day nativity scene at city hall sponsored by our favorite bimbet. Hasn't that chick figured out that we're all rooting for her to move to Meridian and start popping out babies and wishing she was on Desperate Housewifes? What is the world coming to?

Bike content: I'll be a roadie this weekend.

This fool is stuck here till 5pm today and then working till 3pm tomorrow. Yay.

I was planning on going XC skiing up at Bogus tomorrow evening, but I guess they are closing down the mountain at 4:30pm today and won't re-open until the conditions are better.

Oooo...

Just checked Yahoo! Weather and it looks like it's suppose to be in the 40s tomorrow and no rain. Hmmmm....may have to ride on the Greenbelt tomorrow then! Hey...the Greenbelt is better than nothing!!!

Home? Already there. Off until the 3rd, I am!

Actually, I had a great AM playing Santa Claus with all the local wrenches who have treated me so well this year. Thanks again to the guys at Reed, George's Meridian, and IMT. (FYI - bikemech23 - you may want to tell Doug to save you some of the malted holiday goodness I dropped off! I saw the glint in his eye that told me that he would abscond with the whole case!)

As for Brandi, I'm unsure why she doesn't move to Meridian, Kuna or anywhere in Canyon County. I'm pretty sure she'd be easily elected to the City Council of Meridian, Kuna, Nampa, or Caldwell. Heck, the Nampa Council refused to remove their 10 Commandments display - seems like just her kind of place. That, and during the fall, the majority of cars I saw with "Brandi for City Council" bumper stickers on them had 2C plates.

Bike content - Twist, did you finally get a road bike? I'm hoping the rain goes away for a little while this weekend so I can too get out on the road bike. I've been running the last 2 days and I'm already sick of it. Too warm to go to Bogus and too wet to ride. What's an Earthpig to do? I have to admit, when I stopped by Reed today and saw Bill take off on his fender-clad CX bike for a spin up Rocky Canyon Road, I have to admit I was wistful for my since-sold Cross Check...

Everybody have a safe, wonderful, happy, joyous, magical (and for Visicypher, spackle-filled) Christmas season and I'll see you on the trails again next year. (Man, that was almost pleasant - I must be slipping...)

"I don't think they wanted to go through another battle like they did with the Ten Commandments," she said. "They know what we're capable of. This shows they're going to be smart about it."

what are they capable of???? just wasting a bunch of tax payers money??

the monument isn't up....so what did they accomplish?

zero bike related here at all.

this weather sucks.
yay spackle!!!!
