I'm in a "picture taking mood" this morning. :)

I semi-recently bought this bike from another forum member and haven't taken any good pics of it. It's hard to photograph the paint scheme, whcih is pretty well done. The drive-side of the bike is white, and the non-drive is black. The color theme is carried through the components with the cranks, brake arms, and skewers all being mixed white/black combo.

The Yak model was more or less a FRO with additional water bottle mounts, a portage strap, and an increased cost. I don't know a lot of the history of the bike, but someone went to a lot of trouble to make the bike "two tone."

Hmmm, you might need to paint the back side of the bullseye cranks ;). I see white back of the drive side cranks when looking at the black bike. Considering that they painted the fade to the inside of the fork and stays, i think it should match

That's a good point. I'm surprised that the cranks didn't get that treatment too. :)

Outstanding! Whoever dreamed this up had a lot of time on his hands.

One of a kind for sure, love it! I don't know about you but bikes with portage straps really get me going. Bring it to Keyesville next year!?!?

I always wait to the last minute to decide what to ride, but this one might make the trip. :)

Great great bike! It's like something out of a mad dentist's dreams.

That yak originally came out of our shop here in Chicago. Our shop logo was in the back window of that saddle the last time i saw it listed on ebay. It is missing the original stem IRD or Cook Bros double pinch (dont remember which but one of those two but it was one of them),Blackburn Mtn Bottle cages, and a set of Bruce Gordon racks that were all painted to match. Pretty sure it also had Black flanged with white centered Bullseye hubs too. Paint was done by Yeti for us.
Coincidentally the the original owner that came up with the idea was a dentist.
