Just got a couple frames back from Colorlife - local powder meisters. Conservative colors for these Yetis. There is a Pro Fro and a 1" Fro. The Pro Fro is going to turn into my main rider - I'm retiring the ARC after having seen too many broken frames.

I've got a couple more Yetis that need powder. There is an ultimate that will be done in Merckx orange and a 1 1/4 FRO that will be white. I am psyched to see the Yeti fleet. If anyone has a C-26 or a Treefrog for sale, PM me

I have never really looked into powdercoating or painting prices for bikes. How much does it run (for coating or paint)? After painting my Trek, I have really taken an interest into painting bike frames. Much cheaper and quicker than painting cars, and mistakes are more easily fixed. I am experimenting with gradient and Klein Attitude-esque styles, but my next paint job will probably be scallops or flames, since I am for familiar with those.

Powdercoating is great for simple work since it is inexpensive and provides a strong finish. These bikes cost me about $100 each for stripping and powdercoating.

i've got 3 freshly powder coated bikes sitting here that i can't wait to show you but i'm waiting for my decals. it's been 6 months now that i've been waiting

my Ultimate will be the next one powder coated. you've inspired me to get that project rolling.

I wonder a thing about the 1 inch FRO, does it use a BMX size headset or a 1 inch MTB headset?

Probably wise to retire the ARC. I have many pictures on my computer of cracked ARC's.

I don't know about the supplier, but the color is RAL5018 - ask for it by name
