Don'cha just love getting new stuff and having it all stacked up and ready to go like that. Who needs Christmas when you could have a new bike build ready to go.
I never was able to accumulate parts for a build. I start putting them on as they arrive.

honestly I didnt have a scale to weigh any of the individual parts.

I have decided to switch to a easton monketlite sl low riser bar, I also got my selle italia slr ti in white. I should have completed pics up tommorow

I got the frame from the path bike shop in cali, someone had ordered it and had backed out of the order while waiting for it. I got lucky and didnt have to wait

heineken bottle went in my stomach along with 5 others during the build.

Man thats gonna be a nice ride, where did you get the frame? I thought those were really hard to come by. Did you get a weight for the frame before building it up?
It seems as though Yeti just got a fairly large shipment out. I received one in late November.

My Medium frame, w/ pressed in BB bearings and seat clamp installed weighed 5.1 lbs. I figure a relatively light seat post weighs about .4 lb and the bearings probably weigh .2 lb. So I would guess a comparitive frame weight would be 4.5 lb. w/ shock.

Complete XTR kit bike weighed 23.25 lb out of the box w/out pedals. But that was with 700g Maxxis LUST Crossmarks. Right now it has a completely stock build with Ritchey WCS Ti pedals (250g) and 2.25 Racing Ralphs (525g), it weighs 23.0 lb. It is a very, very fast bike...sexy too.

I actually have the racing ralph's 26 x 2.1 on order but are damn near impossible to get right now.

I used the syntace ti bolt kit.

Here are the complete build kits sitting @ 22.5, hoping to lose a little more weight with future changes to the tires, scrub components rotors, formula r1 brakes, and custom wheelset in the future.

How do you like that fork? I'm thinking about getting one for my ASR (non carbon). I had one of the new SID Teams that just got replaced under warranty (kept leaking air). But was thinking of selling it and trying out something else. How does the fixed compression damping feel on the trial?

Thanks!

thanks fer letting us mortals dream! I couldn't do justice to a kit like that (me-no-pro!) so I went with the alu. frame in white (my partner in crime has the team color already), Magura MD100R fork, Stan's 355 with ZTR hubs, SRAM X0 drivetrain. So far, my total cost is under the cost of the stock enduro build but that's just 'cuz I invest thousands of hours into shopping online (that figure is from my wife...) Weight wise, we'll see when everything arrives... it will kill my old trek fuel90 fer sure.
