I want to set my M952 XTR cranks up as a 2x9 using the Middleburn 104 bcd spider and Extralight 30t ring. For a better chinline/lower q-factor/less weight, I'd like to use a Dura-Ace 7700 Bottom Bracket. The problem is, it is only available in a 68mm width and my frame is 73mm.

Any way to make this work?

You could have a go at grinding down the flanges on those cups so that you can insert the cups inside the BB shell and then center your axle as needed. I'd make sure to have nice and clean threads and use a healthy dose of blue locktite to keep it all firmed up. Be sure to make sure yer crankarm will clear the BB shell with the reduced axle legth before you move forward. This has been accomplished before here but not with this exact combo, AFAIK.
