I am looking for some yellow upgrades to compliment a set of deemax wheels:

So far I found some wellgo MG-1 Pedals (yellow)

I was thinking about yellow bars or grips or maybe a yellow seat post....not sure what companies to go with...most of the stuff on JensonUSA is black...any help:

This is my rig without the deemax:

The Selle Italia Flite and ProLink come in yellow, THE makes yellow and black lock on grips, could use yellow bar tape as stay protectors, yellow housing.

Other than that you'll have to customize me thinks.

maybe just leave it with just the yellow wheelset and keep everything else black and silver

Now you are on the right track...

I think leaving it as is with the dee maxes will look sweet. Maybe the yellow seat but any moreyellow besides the saddle and wheels might be a bit much.

What was wrong with your current wheelset? DT 6.1s are pretty sweet and I've heard some bad things about the deemax hubs.

Anyway, make it all black and let the yellow of the wheels stand out IMO.

I think that is the way i will be going! To answer your q: i want to wheel sets so i can change quick between mud / race / and Fr situations. I have read the reviews about the deemax hubs but something has to be said about TONS of racers riding them?

I'm sure deemax are great, I know the rims on them are fantastic.. If those racers that are riding them are sponsored by Mavic and are getting them for free that really doesn't speak of their longevity though. If you're using them for racing only and have another wheelset for FR then you shouldn't have to worry too much.

Have YOU had any problems with Mavic hubs? I haven't and I've been running two different sets for a over a year. Thats the problem with forums is too much (false) information being spewed out by people that have never ever tried them.

"Yeah, one of my freinds has a boss who has an uncle who's brother once tried to take his freehub off with a pipe wrench and broke it, so MAVIC HUBS SUCK..."

Don't get all upset. I actually don't have any experience with them mainly because the very numerous reports/reviews that state that the hub aren't that great scared me away. I completely agree with your statement about false information being spewed on the forums, usually by silly hater kids. I am not a kid nor am I a hater of Mavic products. I actually love them and will be using their rims to build up my next wheelset. I'm glad you haven't had any problems with your's, it would be a shame to spend so much money on a product and have it turn out to be a lemon. Using the pros as a gauge of what products to buy isn't the best idea either unless you have an unlimited budget for parts like they do, that was my main point there.

I would think that MAvic has fix the issue by now? And even if i do get a "lemon" i would think they are covered under warrenty?

Cool sinister...Yellow and black will be cool...just remember to wear your bee suit when you are huckin...haha. I heard the old silver deemaxx wheels and hubs were pretty tough, I had a buddy that rode on them all the time and cased a bunch of jumps and they still worked great. you just need to service them about once every other month.

just go with the wheels. a ton of yellow accent will end up looking whack, and you'll be spending money that you dont need to.

Like I said before I wouldn't worry about it. I hope they are as badass as they look and last forever for you. I personally love the hub design and hope you post good reviews of them so that I can consider them in the future.
