Got an opportunity to check out the Yakima Hookup hitch 1 1/4 rack system. Its a really nice rack and has some nice features. Anyone else got one?

Hopefully this helps out some people looking for a similar rack.

How much sway do get with the rack when going over dips or speed bumps?

The Yak doesn't sway much at all. The Saris swayed a little bit more because the arm was longer and it had just a slide in pin for the hitch while the yakima has a smaller arm and has a threaded bolt that was tighter.

The only movement I get from the rack is up and down with speed bumps. The screw in hitch bolt takes care of any sway of the rack.

My Sportworks sways front and back quite a bit. It is the 1.25 version.

My Yakima swayed a bit even when bolted in so I just took the platic insert out and used a regular locking hitch pin. It doesn't seem to allow much sway at all and I don't have to mess with ratcheting the bolt all the way out to remove the system.
