I recently bought a Yakima Copperhead fork mount and tray for my Subaru. But when I went down a rough fire road my bike seemed to sway a bit. It took it, but I'm worried since it's made completely out of plastic. I notice in the reviews a lot of people fault the rack for it's low security. But I'm mainly concerned about durability. Anybody have one of these break on them? I'm thinking of buying some Rocky Mounts Lariat trays since they are all metal and a lot cheaper than Steelheads. Or will this work for me? Thanks.
