I am 6'4" and am considering a 2010 XXL 5 Spot. I was wondering what height and inseam you may have and found the XXL DW Spot to fit right. I have searched and read previous posts, with some saying they wouldn't feel right on an XXL if they were under 6'6'. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to ride the bike before purchasing.

I'm Also 6'4 and looking to purchase a 2011 5 spot. It's a lot of $$ to drop on a frame thats to big or small. Per Turner website I could go xl or xxl. No demo center near me and most shops are non-stocking dealers so I haven't physically seen the bike I want which is making a decision very difficult. I've been going to all the local shops and sitting on bikes with similar frame geometry to the xl spot. All have felt small and cramped. Plan on taking some measurements and calling Turner for advice. Hope someone can offer advise as well.

Same here, 6'4. I rode a 09 DW XL spot, which felt quite a bit shorter than the 08 RFX I ride now. If you can make it to Turner's shop they have demo bikes you can try out on the local trails.

6'5" Demo'd an XL Sultan, felt cramped; bought XXL Sultan, in love. Y'all should seriously consider going with a 2011 XXL Sultan. Demo if you can.

Thanks for the input. I actually was able to demo an XXL 09 Sultan for a weekend in Phoenix and it fit well. The geo #'s of the XXL Spot are similar to the 04 Enduro I am replacing, save for the standover height at 33" vs. 29".

The DW XXL should fit you well. I own a 07 XXL, that is more like the XXXL DW Spot (find one in the Turner shop), which is a great fit for my 6'8" with long legs. Note that the XXL DW Sultan is about the same size as my '07 XXL Spot and thus larger than the XXL DW spot.
