Basically what the title says, will XX/XO trigger shifters be compatible with either red or force road derailleurs and crankset, cassette? Also, would sram red/force brakes be compatible with xx/xo levers? Thank you

The derailleurs will work, but I'm not aware of any mechanical xx / xo brake levers. I think you would have to find some old canti-style brake levers to work with the pull ratio of road brakes. SRAM makes some flat bar road shifters, I'm not sure what levers they tend to pair them with, but most flat bar road bikes (think Trek FX) run V-brakes, so any mechanical MTB lever would work.

yeah i just checked and sram has a bl700 brake lever for flat bars that work with their road brakes. so if i got, let's say, force brakes with these bl700 levers and xx shifters everything should fit and work fine?
