i have a 2010 XX long cage derailleur that is dropping the chain on the bottom jocky wheel. The chain gets stuck btw the bottom wheel and the inner cage. drive train is all 2X10 XX. This just started happening this last weekend after not having this issue at all after several hundred miles of various riding. I did notice that it happens more often when im in the the smaller 26T ring VS the larger ring.

thanks for any help!

Happened with mine last summer. In my case something caused the chain to be thrown off the first time. The hanger and cage were straight but that can be a contributer. I'm not sure what is was on mine. Maybe it was tall grass that got caught or mud/dirt build up or maybe just a funky shift that tossed it? But after it happened once in the heat of race it wore the inner cage a tiny bit and that was enough to have it continually get thrown between pulley wheel and inner cage. I had to replace the cage and it was fine after that. Until I got a cage I actually wrapped electrical tape around the inner cage to keep the chain out. Check with your LBS. They maybe able to work something out with sram customer service. They are great to deal with.
