Hey folks can you tell me if XTR shifter m 9100 is compatible with XT m 8000 drivetrain and derailleur?

From the research I have done, no it is not. The M9100 shifter when switched to 11 speed using the 11/12 speed switch on the underside of the shifter takes away one gear but maintains the narrower 12 speed cassette spacing.

I am running that set up. My only issue is that the pull trigger to upshift does not work in a couple of gears. It's not a big deal, but I may end up swapping it for an M9000 anyway.
