Has anyone seen this?

I'm picking up a set of XTR cranks and I'm wondering if this might be worth protecting the finish on it. I personally don't care for battle scars, but I figure it will definately pay for itself in resale value.

Anyone try it yet?

I use frame saver tape, quite a bit less for a whole roll. Same principle; works fine. Or just use clear packing tape. Lasts for a couple of years.
