This is just an FYI.

The first ever XTERRA Uwharrie was held in Spring 2007. We are now blessed with an EPIC single track trail amongst the 40 miles of multiuse trails in the Uwharrie National Forest Badin Lake trail system.

With some work - the entire multiuse system could be ridable for cyclists.

A big thanks to the Sandhills Cyclists, UMBA and Uwharrie Wheelmen for getting the XTERRA route completed.

hows it going .i used to live in Troy NC and now live in Carthage.i have a couple of Questions about trails and volunteering for maintenance .Can you p.m. me with a contact name ?i am presently recovering from a surgery but will hopefully be on my feet again shortly .
