looking to replace stock bontrager crankset with xt cranks. three questions:

1. how do i know if it will fit? bb width and diameter is enough?

2. what tools do i need? will my isis bb tool work?

3. whats a good deal for xts these days? sub $200? $150? ebay the best way to go?

Are you talking about the external BB version? M760?

If you are then the BB size will be determined by your frame and you will be able to adjust the external BB with the use of spacers to align your chainrings correctly. (It's one size fit's all, the diameter should be standard unless your frame is weird.)

You need the Shimano BB tool for external BB's. ISIS will not work.

$200 shipped is the norm for a good deal now a days.
