Just wanna warn those using shimano brakes that has the cable coming from the top of the caliper that the cable will hit the rear triangle when suspension cycles that causes some minor paint damage. I covered mine with protective tape already. Before using the shimano brakes, i was using the sram codes where the cable routes from the bottom of the caliper. What a bummer.

Had the same thing. A Saint caliper will fix this

Is yours scratched up as well? How bad? Mine chipped off paint and exposed the carbon but carbon is still intact. I only have 5 rides with the new brakes its a good thing i cleaned the bike today otherwise it could have gone worse. Yeah i saint caliper is the fix as the hose is mounted from the inside.

Switch to the 4 piston XT. Problem solved.

My bike is older, and aluminium, but has a cable guide on the inside of the stay. Did they do away with that at some point?
