I use a short cage X.O. and my set up is....
an 11-32 XT cassette with 44 32 22 (compact) rings up front. Shifting is smooth as butter with no chain suck or capacity issues going to the extreme cogs. If you run a 34 tooth cassette I would go with the long version....Treybiker said:I can't find any specs on the long vs. short cage on Sram's site as far as how many teeth the short cage will handel.
