XO long cage vs. short

I can't find any specs on the long vs. short cage on Sram's site as far as how many teeth the short cage will handel. Being here in Houston where it's flat as a pancake, I was considering going with a short cage der since it'll shift a little quicker, and have a little better clearance. I plan on getting the XO group but didn't know if it was available with the short cage or not.

an 11-32 XT cassette with 44 32 22 (compact) rings up front. Shifting is smooth as butter with no chain suck or capacity issues going to the extreme cogs. If you run a 34 tooth cassette I would go with the long version....

Exactly! I'm running a FSA Carbon Pro Team crankset with 44/32/22 rings, a SRAM PG990 11-32 cassette, a SRAM X.0 med-cage rear derailleur and SRAM X.0 twisters on my RacerX and the shifting is fast, solid and precise.

im pretty sure the only sizes are medium or large. medium has a capacity of 37t, large has a capacity of 45t. it was listed in the dealer tech docs.
Yeah, that's what I meant. I ordered the "medium" cage today.
