I am thinking about selling my wheels (Sun Equalizer wheelset) and getting something more suitable for XC races. What wheels do you guys recommend? I want something $200-$350ish and I am 180lbs. I thought about Mavic Crossride or Cross trails?

Arrgghh..............heavy wheels with proprietary (hard to get; expensive) parts and very so-so hubs. Nothing to see there. Try some from Bicycle Wheel Warehouse - they have loads of options and only limited by your money.

Prob the weight, like he said, he wants a lighter more xc oriented wheelset. If you decide to sell em pm me, id be interested.

Im pretty sure they'd be lighter then my current 13lb wheelset (tires, tubes, rims)
