I'm still riding/racing a trusty 26er HT as I'm not in a position to upgrade to a 29er or FS bike, so last year I bought a Cane Creek Thud Buster LT as an alternative way to soak up some of the bumps. Last year I did a few races - One with the Thud Buster Seat Post and one with just a regular (so-to-speak) seat post. I felt like I was much more efficient using the Thud Buster vs. regular seat post even factoring the 'pedal-bobbing'. Just curious if anyone else has experimented with the Thud Buster (particularly with racing) and what their takeaways were?
